INTD 4800 - Senior Year Experience
Each semester the Senior Year Experience enrolls about 180 students in a 10 week, one credit course with a combined lecture and discussion format. Students attend lectures delivered by content experts on a number of topics and participate in small 15 person discussion sections. Typically lecture speakers address such topics as résumé writing, job searching, interviewing, job offers, personal financial management, car buying, retirement investing, and transitional issues. Discussions provide an opportunity to process and engage with the materials presented in lecture, incorporate these topics into a reflection of the meaning of the students’ undergraduate education and future plans, and reflect upon and discuss various senior-related issues.
