1. What is a “must do” before you leave campus?

UConn Late Night. Loved it, especially the awesome Bingo prizes!!

2. What do you wish you knew before entering the “real world”?

I wish I understood the value of my UConn network before I started working. I could have used it to help me become more comfortable in networking situations and establish a mentor relationship (two things that I think are key for an early career professional!).

3. What do you miss most about life at UConn?

The a cappella community! I was in the Chordials for 4 years, and loved being able to easily connect and do gigs with the other groups on campus. I missed it so much that I helped start a new group for those of us not in school any more called The Sweetest Key! Can I mention 2 things? I have to say, being a part of the Orientation Staff was by far one of my most favorite and valuable experiences at UConn!

4. Why are you a member of the Alumni Association?

Being a member of the alumni association helps me connect back to the place where I spent four great years. Even as an alum, the University really cares about me and what I’m doing now; I’ve forged great relationships in several departments that have really help me move forward in my current position. I'd encourage anyone considering being a member of the UConn Alumni Association to go for it! There are so many ways being a member can boost your career, especially for recent grads.
