Digital yearbooks are now available!!!
In a collaborative effort, the Nutmeg Yearbook, the Dodd Research Center and the Department of Student Activities have digitized the University of Connecticut’s collection of yearbooks from 1915-2008. The 92 bound volumes include approximately 25,450 pages total. Each page was carefully photographed and converted to searchable digital files by an outside document imaging company.
The project makes older, more difficult to find books more available for research projects and UConn alumni. The Nutmeg Yearbook will be offering the individual books for sale on DVD. Additionally, all volumes are preserved on microfilm for the University archives, located at The Dodd Center. The Dodd Center will also be posting a water-marked version of the collection online, with the exception of books representing the most recent 10 years. Anyone is welcome to visit the Dodd Center and view the yearbooks in the collection or contact the Nutmeg Yearbook office to purchase a book t (860) 486-5244 or nutmegyearbook@gmail.com.
